Have we forgotten nature? Right now I'm standing in the middle of millions and millions of wildflowers and I'm just overwhelmed. But what impresses me most among all the blossoms is the incredibly intense scent of berries - I can't describe it any other way. Have we forgotten nature, I ask myself? Never before has my sense of smell perceived something so beautiful. In times long past, all flower meadows must have smelled like this. Today we don't know that anymore. And also the variety of plants has somehow become strange to us. Today, among my friends, hardly anyone can identify more than 5 wildflowers - apart from farmers. But even farmers remain amazed in front of this field. Because "normal flower strips" are much smaller and above all reduced to the essentials.
