"Servus Taylor! Antenne Bayern". Info on the making of the huge ground picture at MUC Airport

We at the start-up GEOXIP have specialized in sowing huge soil images with field and wild flowers and developing the technology for this. Using high-precision seeding methods such as Vector-Seed® and Multilayerseed, we enable the cultivation of flowering geobrandings. What grows as a spectacular branding when viewed from a distance brings back native biodiversity on the ground. With geobranding, components of a lettering usually become oversized flowering islands that can connect biotopes and provide habitats and dispersal potential for wild bees and insects. All this is possible even in the middle of conventional cultivation. Nothing is lost. Everything makes sense.

The "Servus Taylor!" geobranding was created by GEOXIP using state-of-the-art DGPS methods with a resolution of 1.7 centimetres in the Munich flight path. The field had already been harvested and is being used in this project for a short time as a natural stage before the sowing of an extensive catch crop, which also benefits the farmer. We are all there wherever there are cool and meaningful projects in nature and enthusiastically say "Servus Taylor!"

"Servus Taylor! Antenne Bayern" floor picture

The "Servus Taylor! Antenne Bayern" ground painting at Munich Airport is an impressive example of innovative field art, realized by the Munich start-up GEOXIP. GEOXIP specializes in creating huge ground images with field and wild flowers and has developed special techniques for this. Methods such as the precise Vector-Seed® technology and the Multilayerseed method enable a high-precision seeding process that not only creates spectacular geobrandings, but also promotes native biodiversity. These seeding techniques allow the creation of floral images and lettering that look like impressive brand logos from a distance, but are true oases of biodiversity on the ground. The resulting flower islands are often designed to connect biotopes and offer wild bees and other insects new habitats and opportunities to spread.

Geobranding "Servus Taylor!" with state-of-the-art DGPS processes

For the "Servus Taylor!" geobranding, GEOXIP used state-of-the-art DGPS methods with a resolution of 1.7 centimetres to design the huge lettering in the approach path of Munich Airport. The field, which had already been harvested, served as a natural stage in this project before it was earmarked for conventional agricultural use again. The impressive lettering "Servus Taylor!", flanked by the Antenne Bayern logo, covers an area of 3.3 hectares, the equivalent of five soccer pitches. The exact location of the ground image is in Achering near Freising, in the immediate vicinity of another Erdinger Weißbräu field branding.

Dimensions of the geoglyph Servus Taylor

The dimensions of the geoglyph are impressive: the "Servus Taylor!" lettering measures 320 meters in length and is divided into two sections. The "Servus" section is 115 meters long and 30 meters high, while the "Taylor!" section is 160 meters long and almost 40 meters high. In total, the floor painting covers an area of 13,400 square meters. The circumference of the entire field is around 848 meters, which is just under a kilometer.

These impressive dimensions illustrate the dimensions of this extraordinary welcome message. GEOXIP is thus setting new standards in outdoor advertising by using nature as an advertising space and at the same time creating ecological added value. The field advertising brings the beauty of nature to the fore and shows that advertising and sustainability can go hand in hand. The "Servus Taylor!" lettering is a symbol of this philosophy: it combines eye-catching branding with the preservation and promotion of biodiversity.

Great response to the message in the field

The response to the project was enormous. Taylor Swift herself saw the welcome message and greeted her fans in Munich with a "Servus". The combination of creative advertising technology and a nature-friendly concept not only delighted the artist's fans, but also attracted attention in the media landscape. With this project, GEOXIP proves that advertising can be more than just a message - it can create an experience that connects people and nature.

Floor paintings in nature - we can do it for you too!

The project impressively demonstrates how modern geoglyphs and large-scale floor images open up a completely new dimension in outdoor advertising. With the "Servus Taylor!" project, GEOXIP has shown how to win not only people's eyes, but also their hearts. Wherever there are cool and meaningful projects in nature, GEOXIP is on hand to implement them with passion and creativity. The "Servus Taylor!" floor painting at Munich Airport is a good example of how advertising, art and nature can merge harmoniously.

The Munich-based start-up GEOXIP has developed a completely new approach to outdoor advertising (Out-of-Home, OOH) with its innovative method of field advertising with flowers. By sowing wildflowers in precisely shaped patterns and logos, impressive geoglyphs are created that not only have an enormous visual impact, but also benefit nature. A prime example of this type of geobranding was the "Servus Taylor! Antenne Bayern" near Munich Airport, which went viral and was even mentioned by Taylor Swift herself when she greeted fans in Munich. This report looks at the opportunities and potential offered by this form of advertising and examines the environmental, economic and social benefits it brings to businesses, farmers and the environment.
